SynchNeuro has secured seed-stage support from Boomerang Ventures to advance its brain-based, non-invasive continuous glucose monitoring technology. Using EEG-derived signals decoded by machine learning, the company is developing a wearable “Cardiometabolic Advisor” that tracks blood glucose and metabolic indicators without needles. The investment accelerates development and moves the device closer to broad market adoption.

Boomerang Ventures has taken the lead in a $3 million seed round for SynchNeuro Inc., a Philadelphia-based health tech startup developing a wearable sensor that translates brainwave activity into real-time health insights. As part of the investment, Boomerang Founder and Managing Partner Oscar Moralez has joined the company’s board, strengthening the partnership as SynchNeuro advances its technology to monitor blood sugar and other critical health metrics.

Boomerang Ventures has added SynchNeuro, Inc. to its seed-stage portfolio, investing to accelerate development of the world’s first brain-based, non-invasive continuous glucose monitor. The Indianapolis-based fund is backing the startup’s EEG-driven platform that decodes brainwave signals behind the ear to monitor glucose, sleep, stress and cardiometabolic health in real time. “The brain is the richest data source imaginable,” says SynchNeuro founder Dr. Casey Halpern.
