Boomerang Ventures Invests $1M in SiteLabs Seed Round

Source: Indianapolis Business Journal Boomerang Ventures has led a $2 million seed investment in SiteLabs, an Anderson, South Carolina–based startup helping independent pharmacies offer onsite diagnostic testing. Founded in 2020, SiteLabs provides a digital platform that supports screenings for diabetes, cholesterol, strep throat and more. Boomerang contributed $1 million to the round, joined by Labcorp Venture Fund and SC Launch Inc., the investment arm of the South Carolina Research Authority.

Indianapolis-based venture studio and fund Boomerang Ventures was the lead investor in a $2 million seed round for Anderson, South Carolina-based SiteLabs. Founded in 2020, SiteLabs has developed an online platform that independent pharmacies can use to manage on-site testing services for diabetes, cholesterol, strep throat and other health issues. Boomerang invested $1 million in the seed round. Other investors included Labcorp Venture Fund, the venture investing arm of North Carolina-based Labcorp Holdings Inc.; and SC Launch Inc., the investment arm of the South Carolina Research Authority.
