Wicked Technologies, led by founder and CEO Alli Truttmann, is the creator of the Wicked Smart Pad™, a reusable, sensorized pad that detects moisture and sends real-time alerts to caregivers. The solution is designed to improve the quality of life for patients and ease caregiver burden in senior living and hospital settings.

This recognition builds on Boomerang Ventures’ Series A2 investment completed in February 2025, which is helping Wicked scale commercialization of its incontinence-care platform. IN-Prize winners are traditionally expected to establish a meaningful Indiana presence as part of the investment terms—reinforcing the region’s momentum in healthcare innovation.

Joining Wicked on the RALLY stage was fellow Boomerang Ventures portfolio company EarSmartAI, which earned a spot as a finalist in the Healthcare studio track. EarSmartAI develops AI-powered diagnostic tools that support earlier detection and more accurate assessments of hearing conditions—demonstrating Boomerang’s commitment to supporting transformative healthcare technologies across the spectrum of care.
