Lisa Huse joined Boomerang Ventures as an Executive-in-Residence (XiR) for the Boomerang Studio. She is a dynamic global commercial executive known for her ability to execute innovative commercial strategies. She is a force behind accelerated growth and profitability in the fiercely competitive medtech and healthcare SaaS sectors. With a versatile skill set spanning marketing, sales, business development, and customer service, Lisa challenges market and organizational norms. She excels in building high-performing teams and brings a unique blend of a bias for action, ruthless prioritization, and agile thinking to achieve measurable results.

Lisa’s recent endeavors include providing go-to-market advisory to startup businesses, including Kilele Health, a wearable remote patient monitoring for cardiometabolic diseases, Respiratory Health Technologies, a hyperthermic wellness solution, ExtraSecurity, a cyber security services startup, and Xolv, a tech startup dedicated to the neurodivergent population. Her advisory work includes product-market fit analysis, market sizing, demand generation, value proposition creation, and commercial strategy development.

Previously, Lisa was the Chief Commercial Officer for LifeOmic, a precision medicine SaaS company focused on harnessing Next-Generation Sequencing data for care personalization. She evolved the commercial strategy against two market segments. As a result of this renewed focus, she led the organization to accomplish the founder’s acquisition goal by Fountain Life.

Before LifeOmic, Lisa built a robust career at Roche spanning more than two decades and culminating in global positions as the Regional Head of Marketing and Customer Experience for Europe and North America and the General Manager for Management Center Iberia, based in Barcelona, Spain. Her achievements at Roche included spearheading a Managed Care Market Access program combating a 70% cut in Medicare reimbursement and executing the first industry Social Media Summit, making Roche the pioneer among pharma and medtech companies. Lisa’s financial acumen and leadership prowess have led to annual profit improvements exceeding $25M, managing teams of over 200 reports across four countries, managing P&Ls of more than $400M, and successfully launching several products, including the fastest-growing blood glucose monitoring system in category history.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Lisa is a passionate advocate for leadership development and diversity and inclusion. As a founding member of the award-winning Roche Women’s Leadership Initiative and an executive mentor with the Healthcare Business Women’s Association, she continues to champion positive change. Lisa’s commitment extends to volunteer roles as a High Alpha Innovation Advisor and an Axis Executive Mentor with the Indiana Biosciences Research Institute.

Lisa holds a BA in Economics from DePauw University, where she studied internationally. Pursuing her passion for Artificial Intelligence, she recently completed an Executive Kellogg Certificate Course focused on AI in Business. She resides in Indianapolis with her husband and two children.
