DAN CLARK

Venture Partner

Dan Clark is a Venture Partner at Boomerang Ventures, where he focuses on identifying and accelerating early-stage healthtech and medtech companies at the intersection of diagnostics, connected devices, and data-driven care.

Dan brings a builder’s perspective shaped by founding Linear Health Sciences, where he led the company from concept through product design, DFM, and scaled manufacturing, while building out the complete operational infrastructure through commercialization. His experience spans a wide range of medical and wellness technologies within the startup ecosystem, including infusion systems, surgical devices, biomarker-driven diagnostics, and emerging health platforms.

Beyond core medtech, Dan has worked across digital health and AI-enabled platforms, helping translate novel technologies into commercially viable products and partnerships. He has also launched and scaled direct-to-consumer health brands, giving him a unique lens on consumer adoption, brand positioning, and go-to-market strategy.

Dan holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Purdue University, where he continues to collaborate with the School of Biomedical Engineering to mentor undergrads and professors interested in developing unique technologies. Dan has also partnered with Colorado University Innovations to mentor their young founders and incubate real-world solutions and ideas capable of true disruption.

At Boomerang, Dan supports deal sourcing and associated diligence, while partnering closely with founders to de-risk development, refine product-market fit, and connect breakthrough innovations with strategic partners and capital to drive meaningful growth.
